Hi Reader! We’re Megan & Kelsey. We met in the beginning of 2011, and after a comical introduction, a surprise doorstep visit to show off a haircut with new bangs, and hanging out solo for the first time by going to Ireland and Spain, we’ve been best friends ever since.

Megan brought us into the tea world by starting Felicity Loft, a tea company rooted in our home state of Alaska. Fast forward a few years, we’ve converted her garage into a commercial kitchen, and have a giant a$$ piece of manufacturing equipment (affectionately called the “Tea Machine,” it’s how we fill and wrap each individual sachet), so of course we decide to start a second tea company together. In December of 2023, we brought Cliché Teas to the world.

We’ve both sold successful restaurants – did someone say serial entrepreneurs? – and are thrilled to have landed somewhere still adjacent to food service. We currently take care of everything in house: writing recipes, blending, graphic design, production, and lovingly packing each of your orders.

Our aim is to help provide your day with a small moment of joy by way of a great cup of tea.
